BEIJING, July 6 (Xinhua) -- The following are the updates on the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

BEIJING -- Chinese health authority said Monday that it received reports of four new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland Sunday, of which one was domestically transmitted.
The domestically transmitted case was reported in Beijing, the National Health Commission said in its daily report.

RAMALLAH -- Palestine on Sunday confirmed 472 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number in the Palestinian territories to 4,722.
Meanwhile, four more deaths from the virus were registered, raising the death toll to 20 since the outbreak of the pandemic in March, said the Palestinian health ministry in a statement.

ADEN, Yemen -- The total number of COVID-19 cases in Yemen's government-controlled provinces increased to 1,265 on Sunday, after 17 new ones were confirmed.
Meanwhile during the past 24 hours, the number of recoveries in the government-controlled areas increased to 552 since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus on April 10, the Yemeni Health Ministry said in a brief press statement.

RABAT -- Morocco on Sunday reported 393 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of infections in the country since March 2 to 14,215.
The surge of infections in Morocco was caused by an outbreak of the virus in the western city of Safi which has many industrial units specialized in canning and processing of sardines.

SINGAPORE -- Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 136 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 44,800.
Of the new cases, seven are imported cases, 18 are community cases and the rest are linked with the dormitories of foreign workers.
