SINGAPORE -- Singapore's top priority is to protect and create jobs as the country sustains its fight against COVID-19, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said Saturday.

NEW YORK -- United Airlines Friday announced the schedule for resumed service between San Francisco and Shanghai with twice-weekly flights starting from July 8, according to a release by the airline.
United Airlines would operate service on Wednesdays and Saturdays from San Francisco to Shanghai. And the return flights would take off on Thursdays and Sundays, said United Airlines. (US-China-Airlines)

CHICAGO -- A 48-year-old employee of a coffee-dispenser manufacturer opened fire on Friday at the company's warehouse in Springfield, capital of the U.S. Midwest state of Illinois, killing two men and critically wounding another.
The suspect, Michael Collins, then fled the scene and was later found dead in his car of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a neighboring county, with two handguns besides his body. (U.S.-Shooting)

PHNOM PENH -- Cambodia on Saturday confirmed nine new imported COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 139, according to a Health Ministry's press statement.
The latest cases included eight Cambodians aged between 23 and 26 years old, and a 22-year-old Indonesian man, the statement said, adding that they all travelled to Cambodia from Indonesia via a direct flight on Thursday. (Cambodia-COVID-19)
