ROXAS CITY, Capiz, Dec. 9 (PIA) -- An online marketing application "Pasalubong Exchange" was launched by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Provincial Office, Dec. 5, in time with the opening ceremonies of the four-day annual trade event dubbed "Estilo Capiz" at Robinsons Place here.
Pasalubong Exchange is a platform that enables Micro, Small, and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSME) to connect with their customers online to showcase and promote their products in a highly efficient rate.

DTI provincial office director Ken Quennie Cunada said that the Capiz Innovation Center, a shared-service facility housed at the Spring Valley in Pueblo de Panay, developed the application with the aim of helping MSMEs be abreast with the latest marketing technology.
"We rise up to the challenge," she said, adding that DTI never stops thinking of innovations not only in terms of product development but also In selling these products and services using digital technologies.
The online shopping application can be downloaded online and installed on android smartphones.
"Just access the app and browse for your desired pasalubong products and place an order with only a few taps on your mobile phone and your pasalubong will be delivered to you," said Spring Valley mobile application developer Martin Rupert Bulquerin during the launching ceremony.
"Since we are living in modern society enhanced by technology, Pasalubong Exchange was created to empower small business owners and producers to reach out a wider audience thru the technology," he added. (LTP/AAL/PIA Capiz)
